I am a product of Wyoming public schools. I grew up in Casper and received a truly amazing education that shaped who I am today.
My husband, Dane, and I moved our family to Laramie in 2022 when he accepted a teaching position at UW. We were thrilled to return to Wyoming, raise our two children here, and reinvest in our home state.
After moving back, I became increasingly concerned about legislation that I felt devalued public education and made our schools less safe. I attended a school board meeting about the repeal of gun-free school zones, contacted our representatives, and became more active in state politics to advocate for our schools and families.
Today, we have a kindergartener and a second grader in ACSD#1. I am running for the Board of Trustees because I believe public education is one of the most important investments we can make in our children and our collective future.
